Dear Gail, Tony and the Team at American Yacht Company,

Hello from all of us at Samata Luxury Liveaboard, the finest Private Charter vessel in Indonesia.

We are located in the Island Paradise of Bali, operating throughout this incredible archipelago of over 17,000 islands. Our charters take us from the Bali and Lombok region to the World Heritage site of Komodo National Park. We also visit the legendary Spice Islands known locally as the Banda Islands where the history of the world was forever changed. A little known and often forgotten fact of these islands was the trade between the Dutch and English for another small island known as Manhattan.

For the best diving in the world with the richest biodiversity we travel through the Four Kings, Raja Ampat near the Island of Papua. Where underwater and above the natural and cultural way of life has had little impact from the outside world. Guests will have the opportunity to spot one of the rarest birds in the world, the magnificent Bird of Paradise and travel through local villages and historical colonial forts once occupied by the Dutch, English and Portuguese.

On The Samata your guests will travel in Luxury with 4 VIP Suites and 1 Master Suite with standard capacity for ten guests and up to twelve for larger groups. All suites include individually controlled air conditioning, on demand entertainment system, mini bar and the finest 1000 count Leitner Linens. Our 5 Star chef will prepare the most sumptuous cuisine with menus custom tailored to the wishes of each charter. Whether it’s a desire to explore the local cuisine or other favorites such as Italian, Asian, French and everything in between our chef is happy to work his magic to delight all tastes. The dining experience is available in the indoor dining room sitting on soft leather or Al Fresco on the beautiful outdoor setting surrounded by crystal clear waters. Our beach banquets will bring the whole experience together as guests dine under the stars and later relax and trade stories from the day of activities next to a cozy fire.

Activities aboard Samata include Scuba Diving with a internationally certified Dive Instructor, also available are dive courses, snorkeling, kayaking, wake boarding, Massage therapy provided by our two on board therapist, Island excursions aboard our six meter tender boat with sun canopy, trekking, cooking demonstrations and the ultimate environment to indulge and relax.

The Samata provides the highest standards of safety equipment with two 25 person Life Boats, SOLAS approved life jackets in every suite, a large supply of medical grade oxygen, extensive first aid supplies and a highly trained staff in emergency procedures.

Samata is a fully staffed and crewed vessel providing all meals, drinks (including spirits and wine), activities, taxes and fees with nightly rates based on the number of guests. Offering charters from as few as three to as many as fourteen nights.

We have attached our Published and Net rates along with additional marketing information you may provide to potential guests.

We are looking forward to building a lasting partnership with the team at American Yacht Company. Please do contact us for further information or if you have any questions we can assist with.

So glad to read that you enjoyed your SeaDream experience. You having extensive experience onboard yachts, would not be easily convinced I'd imagine.
If you were happy, then we are doing our job right! Look forward to serving you again.

Hello,
We are hoping to charter a powerboat in the USVI or BVI on June 16th for about 7 nights. "We" is comprised of myself, husband, and our children ranging in age from 5-26. In 2005 we took a Tarquin 49 with VIP Yachts. We have been saving and hope for another similar experience. After talking with VIP today I have learned that their fleet is quite old and could be less than we hope for. They quote a cost of $5, 638.00 which reflects a 10% discount because of a repeat visit. I am writing to in hopes that you may know of a company or an individual who has a power boat they are interested in chartering during this time frame. We are a very responsible group. My husband is a Naval Architecture/Marine Engineer. We can supply you with unlimited references. We would love to hear from you if in any way you can assist us in our search for a boat in the Islands.
Kindest Regards,
Mar Mitchell

[...] Here is what we can include in all wedding packages (bear in mind that some of these items will come standard with the yacht charter proposal. Those are marked with an *): 1. Private use of your chosen yacht for 3hour, 4 hours or longer * 2. Fuel, dock fee and delivery fee if applicable * 3. Menu options which we will customize with each bride individually * 4. Bar options – full open bar, beer wine soda bar, non alcoholic bar or in some cases a cash bar (not available on all yachts)* 5. Wedding Cake and Champagne Toast* In some cases the champagne toast will be complimentary if you opt for a full open bar and in some cases regardless there is a small fee. Wedding Cakes on the yachts will be from a Standard Collection but we can customize to get you the cake that you want (fees may be incurred depending on choices made) 6. Entertainment – DJ * most yachts have a preferred company that they work with but you are free to use any DJ that you want. In some cases there is a small fee for the use of an outside vendor. We can also find you live bands whether it is a Steel Pan Ban or a Jazz Group. We can also offer you dancers, greeters, cigar rollers – whatever you envision for your guests entertainment. 7. Florals from wedding bouquets, center pieces to wedding arch decoration. 8. Ceremony set up. This will include setting up of ceremony chairs on the top deck of the yacht and taking those chairs down after the ceremony; wedding arch if the yacht does not provide one (most will); aisle runners. 9. All service fees and taxes* will be included leaving no surprises when the balance is due. 10. We can also make a suggestion on gratuity and add that to the final invoice if required. We have an interesting article here on tipping. [...]
